Day 1
Day 1: Ben Gurion Airport / Jerusalem
Upon arrival at Ben Gurion Airport, you’ll be greeted by a representative and transferred to your hotel in Jerusalem. After check-in, you have the rest of the day free to relax or explore the surrounding area. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can stroll through the Mamilla Mall or visit the nearby Jaffa Gate, an iconic entryway to the Old City.
Day 2
Day 2: Jerusalem (Old City)
Today, embark on a guided tour of the Old City of Jerusalem, a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with religious and historical significance. Visit important locations such as the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the Dome of the Rock. Walk along the Via Dolorosa, the path that Jesus is said to have walked on his way to crucifixion, and explore the four quarters of the Old City: Jewish, Christian, Muslim, and Armenian. In the afternoon, you can relax or explore more of the Old City at your own pace.
Day 3
Day 3: Jerusalem (New City)
Today, visit the New City of Jerusalem, where you’ll see a mix of modern attractions and historical landmarks. Begin with a visit to the Israel Museum, which houses the famous Dead Sea Scrolls. Explore the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial, a deeply moving tribute to the victims of the Holocaust. Later, take a trip to the Mount Herzl Cemetery and visit the tomb of Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern Zionism. In the evening, you can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Ben Yehuda Street or visit the Mahane Yehuda Market for a taste of local delicacies.
Day 4
Day 4: Qumran / Masada / Dead Sea
Start your day with a visit to Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Learn about the ancient Jewish sect that lived here, and explore the ruins of the Qumran Caves. Next, head to Masada, a dramatic fortress perched atop a mountain. Take the cable car or hike up to explore the ancient ruins and learn about the historical significance of Masada. Afterward, relax and unwind at the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth, where you can float in the mineral-rich waters and enjoy the therapeutic mud. Return to Jerusalem for the evening.
Day 5
Day 5: At Leisure
This day is free for you to explore Jerusalem at your own pace. You may want to visit more museums, take a guided walking tour, or simply relax at your hotel. You can also visit the Mount of Olives, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Old City and visit sites like the Church of All Nations and the Garden of Gethsemane. Alternatively, take time for some shopping in Jerusalem’s vibrant markets.
Day 6
Day 6: Jerusalem / Ben Gurion Airport
On your final day, after breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to Ben Gurion Airport for your departure flight. Reflect on your time in Jerusalem, filled with historical and spiritual landmarks, and depart with lasting memories of this remarkable destination.
