Day 01: Arrival in Guwahati – Kaziranga National Park
Arrive in Guwahati, the gateway to Assam, and enjoy a scenic drive to the wild haven of Kaziranga National Park (220 km / 5 hours). Upon arrival, check into your resort and unwind, surrounded by nature's beauty. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
Day 02: Kaziranga National Park Exploration
Start your day with a thrilling elephant safari at dawn, venturing deep into Kaziranga National Park to spot the legendary one-horned rhinoceros and other wildlife. After your safari, enjoy a delightful breakfast at the resort. In the afternoon, embark on a jeep safari through the park’s vast landscapes, followed by a visit to the beautiful Kaziranga Orchid Park. Return to the resort for a peaceful overnight stay. (Note: Elephant rides and jeep safaris are subject to availability and regulated by the Forest Department.)
Day 03: Kaziranga to Dibrugarh
After a hearty breakfast, check out from the resort and begin your journey to Dibrugarh (approx. 7 hours drive). Enroute, stop at Sivasagar to explore its historical gems: the revered Shiva Dol, the tranquil Shiva Sagar Tank, the magnificent Rang Ghar, and the Talatal Ghar, a testament to Assam’s royal past. Day 04: Dibrugarh to Tinsukia – Dibru Saikhowa National Park
After breakfast, head to Tinsukia for a day excursion.
